Though I live in Florida, I’m originally from New York, and I’ll never stop repping my home state. To prove it, I recently purchased a New York state t-shirt from ” The Home T”. You may have seen The Home T floating around on social media sites being shown off by celebrities and bloggers alike, all representing their original home state (stylishly, of course). Besides being a super soft and perfectly-fitting tee, The Home T donates to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society (read their story here). The tees come in charcoal gray and blue, but since I have so many gray tees already, I opted for the blue which is the perfect shade and also pops against my new blonder balayage hair color! Even more exciting, The Home T featured my outfit of the day post on their social media sites! This tee would also be a great match with a mini skirt, since…

Back in April, we had an event at work for one of our product launches that focused around a New York street-style themed campaign. I wanted the perfect mix of NYC “cool” street style, and femininity. I decided to pair a graphic tee that donned the city’s namesake (got it on sale for $15 at Old Navy) with a black {faux} leather pleated skirt that I got on clearance at Urban Outfitters for $10! I added a chunky chain necklace from BaubleBar and black caged heels (not pictured here), to pull the look together. My BFF is moving from NYC back to Florida in 2 weeks, and she came to me for advice on what to wear to her going away party. I suggested she head to the nearest street vendor and grab a classic white “I ♥ NY” tee (sold for $5 on many a street corner in NYC). I told…

I recently blogged about some of my new shoes that I’m loving from JustFab, and here’s another pair to add to the list. They made an appearance in my “Little Nude Bag” post, but here they are again – the “Tavia” shoe in Taupe. I’m so in love with not only the color (it’s in between nude and taupe, so it’s perfect), but I really love the laser cut details. It’s a decently high heel, but these are still pretty comfortable. You can spot me here, where I was out for my BFF’s birthday, and made it all through a night of dinner and dancing in these babies! I’ve expressed my love for JustFab before, but if you want to sign up, you’ll get $25 towards your first purchase if you use my referral link. They always have BOGO sales, so you can get two pairs of shoes for $39.95 {free shipping},…

I’ve been browsing a lot of “horn” necklaces lately (this House of Harlow necklace I saw and tweeted about seemed to be a hit!), and it led me to even more exploration of horn accessories of all different kinds. Whether they are literal horn pendants, or beautiful bangles made of horn-style material, I’m all about it lately! I’m especially a little overly excited about this Nicole by Nicole Miller Two-Tone Horn Layered Necklace (for $23.50!): On my horn-hunt, I’ve hunted and gathered links to all sorts of horn accessories for you to browse: Do you have any favorite horned accessories that you love? I can imagine that there are some great vintage pieces out there too!

I’m out in the dating world. I land a happy hour date or a dinner date or a brunch date. I freak out over what to wear, even though my closet is ripping at the seams. It’s supposed to be “casual” date, you know, to get to know each other, but it’s completely high pressure when you need to make a good first impression. I agonize over what to wear, texting photos to my BFFs or FaceTiming as I’m getting ready, and then I finally put together something that (I think) looks “sophisticated” and “sexy” but without “trying too hard”. It seems fairly simple when you think about it, but when you’re nervous and frantic about impressing someone, and trying to get out the door in time, it sometimes is a difficult task. The struggle is real, folks. That’s why I’ve put together some great go-to options for several different…

I did a little  a lot of shopping yesterday – but as always, it was all very wallet-friendly. I picked up some new bathroom accessories (soap dispenser, towels, bath rug) to change up the color scheme, and I’m still on the hunt for a new shower curtain. I also scored this great gray {faux} sheepskin rug at Homegoods ($16.99), which I Instagrammed while shopping, and it happens to be the exact same version I got from Homegoods in white last year {see it here}. I basically need blinders when going into a store, because I can’t help but “just quickly browse” the other departments (you know, the things I don’t actually need). I bought a few other things for my kitchen, and then of course, managed to find some gems… This nude bag with stitched chevron detail and gold chain handles was only $34.99! It’s so classic looking, and it actually…
