I’m out in the dating world. I land a happy hour date or a dinner date or a brunch date. I freak out over what to wear, even though my closet is ripping at the seams. It’s supposed to be “casual” date, you know, to get to know each other, but it’s completely high pressure when you need to make a good first impression. I agonize over what to wear, texting photos to my BFFs or FaceTiming as I’m getting ready, and then I finally put together something that (I think) looks “sophisticated” and “sexy” but without “trying too hard”. It seems fairly simple when you think about it, but when you’re nervous and frantic about impressing someone, and trying to get out the door in time, it sometimes is a difficult task. The struggle is real, folks.
