Romping Around in Denim

Denim is such a great fabric for Spring – light, breezy, casual. I scored this denim romper for only $10 at TJMaxx, and it’s the perfect versatile option to dress up or dress down. I wore it to brunch at Morgan’s Miami (photos of our induglent mascarpone and raspberry stuffed french toast, chicken and waffle sandwiches, various tacos, and freshly baked made-to-order cookies can be seen here), but that’s another story… This beautiful and dainty necklace is by C. Alexandria, who sells her amazing handcrafted pieces in her etsy shop. I put together some similar denim romper options, most under $30! These can be worn with sandals or cute kicks, or dressed up with wedges and even the right blazer, making it a great evening outfit for Spring weather.

Europe Adventures: Barcelona

At the end of May, I departed sunny Florida on an 11-day journey to Europe – alone. Well, I wasn’t going to be completely “alone”, but I was traveling solo to Barcelona, where I would meet 38 other strangers and continue traveling together through Nice, Monaco, Cinque Terre, Sorrento, the Amalfi Coast, Capri, Rome, and Vatican City. I travel often and was itching to take an adventurous trip to explore more of Europe, but with the schedules and budgets of my friends, there’s not always a partner in crime to come along. So, I began researching tour group companies that focused on planned tours for my age range (18 to 35). I currently have my eye on two gorgeous and actually seemingly comfortable pairs of shoes from Steve Madden. Lash Me!

One of my favorite makeup looks from my Vegas trip was the below selfie I snapped, amidst our rush to head out and enjoy our night. I never really wear false lashes, as my lashes are long and full, so I can usually get some great additional length and deep black color with my favorite mascara (the only one I use, and under $8!). After trying out some false lashes this New Years Eve, and again for a wedding in February, I decided I wanted to learn to apply them so I can wear them from time to time for special occasions.
