I’ve been gravitating towards gray for some time now. The past few seasons, I just can’t stay away. There are so many shades of gray and it’s a color that can easily be taken from day to night with the right accessories and shoes, which makes it such a flexible color for staple pieces and separates. Last night I paired this navy snakeskin French Connection clutch with these gray MIA open toe wedge booties to work these neutral pieces into my look. I’ve put together some great gray staples + navy clutch options to get ready for the Fall season:

If you’re IG obsessed like I am, you have probably seen that Instagram’s app update last week included the ability to now post photos in portrait and landscape – an update to the square photo parameters that the app has had since it’s launch. This is a feature that will change the Instagram game by allowing for less stringent cropping and some flexibility with creativity. You will start to see (if you haven’t already) some different sized photos when scrolling through your feed, however, these non-square photos will be cropped and centered when shown on your profile feed. The gram must be on a roll with updates, because yesterday they launched five additional features. You can now share photos directly with friends (rather than tagging them in a photo that you want them to see), create groups for direct messages, use super-sized emojis, reply with photos, and have threaded messages for DMs, rather than needing…

With tropical storms brewing, it’s been raining every day in Florida for the last couple of weeks. Pair that rain with the summer humidity, and I am definitely craving some cooler temperatures! I broke out some of my favorite worn-in ankle booties and paired them with some distressed denim and a tank, hoping to get into the Fall spirit. I’m not looking forward to the day that I have to replace these booties when they get to the end of their life, as they are SO comfortable and can really work for all seasons. I started browsing a bit, and found some similar options that I’ll have to keep in mind. Take a peek:

I’m totally inspired by the cover of the most recent issue of Elle Magazine, donning the stunning Margot Robbie who you probably know as Leo DiCaprio’s Brooklynite wife from The Wolf of Wall Street, or more recently, the sidekick to Will Smith in the movie Focus (P.S. I rented this movie a couple of weeks ago and LOVED it!). Her lived-in hair look is a true testament to the “un-done but done” texture that is the newest hair trend, and (I’m partial) something that Bumble and bumble is known to excel at. That, paired with a deep red gloss stain has me excited enough that it’s Friday (happy hour is calling my name!). I put together a couple of my favorite Bumble and bumble products that are the perfect fit for this texture: Prêt-à-Powder, a microfine loose powder that can not only be used as a dry shampoo, but can be…

Everyone, listen up! Old Navy is having a MAJ sale today, giving an ADDITIONAL 40% off (including clearance!). With my obsession of ClassPass classes, I am doing more workout classes than ever before, and I cannot keep up with the laundry! I am in desperate need of more workout gear, and I love Old Navy’s activewear. Here are some of the items I just snagged (note: the sale prices below are BEFORE the additional 40% off that you will get using code: YESPLEASE). I also couldn’t help but pick up a few more casual daytime pieces (shown in the last row).

As mentioned in my previous post, this past Friday evening I attended the Fall 2015 Fashion Show at Cabi Scoop, a bi-annual event that Cabi Clothing puts on for their huge network of stylists (more to come on this soon, when I give you a peek at the new collection). After the event, I kicked off my heels, and the rest of the weekend was spent participating in a volunteer event, running some errands, and luckily, relaxing!
