Though I live in Florida, I’m originally from New York, and I’ll never stop repping my home state. To prove it, I recently purchased a New York state t-shirt from ” The Home T”. You may have seen The Home T floating around on social media sites being shown off by celebrities and bloggers alike, all representing their original home state (stylishly, of course). Besides being a super soft and perfectly-fitting tee, The Home T donates to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society (read their story here). The tees come in charcoal gray and blue, but since I have so many gray tees already, I opted for the blue which is the perfect shade and also pops against my new blonder balayage hair color! Back in April, we had an event at work for one of our product launches that focused around a New York street-style themed campaign. I wanted the perfect mix of NYC “cool” street style, and femininity. I decided to pair a graphic tee that donned the city’s namesake (got it on sale for $15 at Old Navy) with a black {faux} leather pleated skirt that I got on clearance at Urban Outfitters for $10! I added a chunky chain necklace from BaubleBar and black caged heels (not pictured here), to pull the look together.
