Miami Swim Week 2018 was quite the whirlwind of events. Since it was truly event after event (and a lot of my content was video, for IG stories), I’m walking you through some photos and brief recaps of some of our stops!

We kicked off with Ocean Drive Magazine’s Party at Delano South Beach, hosted by Heidi Klum. She looks just as gorgeous as you would imagine!

The next morning, I was off to the VIP preview of the Coterie Pop-up at Faena Bazaar. They showcased a unique shopping experience which featuring over 50 brands from around the world. Included in this were vintage archives from Gianni Versace! The three-story journey included rooms that were separated by genre and style.

This photo-worthy pink bathtub adorned with flowers was at the Bollare Hub – the infamous gifting suite for bloggers, influencers, and media. This event was in a Penthouse at 1 Hotel (that seemed to go on forever, with room after room). Each area was set up with racks of clothing, swimsuits, shoes, and accessories for gifting purposes. Redken and Priv took over the bathroom, to style guests with braids or dry styling touch-ups!

The Gymshark Pool Party was next, which was one of my favorite events! Starting at The Shore Club Penthouse, we were greeted with frosé and cotton candy, and then able to browse through racks of Gymshark swimsuits. Awaiting upstairs was the private pool party, complete with flamingo floats and all. My Instagram Stories definitely captured the ambiance of the party a bit better, but I changed into this cute coral swimsuit by Gymshark, to blend in with my surroundings.

Next, it was off to The Studio by Tracternberg & Co., where we were spoiled with SO many beauty treats and touch-ups, and left with a HUGE and generous tote bag of products from all of their amazing beauty clients!

It’s hard to balance all of the events, shows, and still getting in time to work, but I was NOT missing the Sport Illustrated show! I was invited to cover the red carpet, where I was able to see Christie Brinkley up close and personal. This OG supermodel looks just as gorgeous as the media portrays her to be, and still oh-so-flawless at 64 years old!

I also made a pit-stop at the Artistans of IQ cabana. The founder of this amazing brand reached out to me, and invited me to her cabana to choose some items. I’m going to be doing a full post on this brand, as my bag is still on it’s way to me, but the jewelry and bags have such an amazing story, as does the brand, and I cannot wait to share more information!

Last but not least…the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Show…

Sports Illustrated Miami Swim Week 2018

This show was so beautiful and empowering, as they held an open casting call here in Miami, and casted models of all types. The superwomen that walked the runway included an amputee, a breastfeeding mama, and women of all shapes, sizes, ages, colors, and personalities.

I think I found a great balance this year of events, shows, and networking, though next year I definitely want to go to some more select shows. If you’re interested in learning more about Swim Week, feel free to reach out to me directly!
