Dr. Patty’s Dental and Spa Boutique

Last week I was invited to attend the Grand Opening of Dr. Patty’s Dental Boutique in Fort Lauderdale.  I was really excited to check it out, since the concept seemed really interesting!  It’s a contemporary spa-like setting that offers a wide range of services including: cosmetic and laser dentistry, facial and microdermabrasion services, eyelash extensions, permanent makeup, brow services, and fillers!

Dr. April Patterson is a highly trained cosmetic dentist, and had a vision of creating this upscale all-in-one boutique office.  The office caters to her clientele’s hectic lifestyles with flexible schedules and concierge services.

I had a chance to speak with the boutique’s aesthetician, Beth.  She told me about the diamond encrusted hand tool that she uses for wet microdermabrasion, and the soft tap hand tool for permanent cosmetics, that allows for more control and is more gentle on the skin.  She also uses a specific blue wax from Hawaii for body waxes, as it’s not temperature sensitive (especially with the Florida humidity, and air conditioned rooms).
