I still haven’t caught up on the rest of my Europe photos from my trip at the end of May, but I’m officially back in Europe – living in Barcelona for the next 2 months! I’ve started to settle in over the past few days, and being here has just reminded me how much I fell in love with this city when I was here for only 2 short days (more about that in this post). I have so many sights, bars, and restaurants on my list to make it to while I’m here, and I also plan on attending a couple of Language Exchange events each week to continue practicing and improving my conversational Spanish. If you haven’t heard of Language Exchanges, they are social events where people from all over the world meet up to socialize and practice the language they want to learn. I attended two different…

Off the shoulder tops are the rage of the summer season – what better way to get your shoulders golden tan, while sporting the latest trend and some shoulder “cleavage”?  I featured this top in my last post, and I actually bought it a couple of years ago, so I’m glad that “off the shoulder” vibes are in for the summer. Since I did buy this top some time ago, I’ve rounded up some similar options below, so you can rock this look! My exact high waisted jeans can be found here, and I’m also linking similar tote bags below (bag shown is from H&M, but only available in-store at select locations): You can also check out some more options to re-create this look by visiting the “Shop My Looks” (linked here, but also found on my top menu bar).

Although I am still working on a full recap post of the rest of my Europe trip, I’m sharing a look featuring two items that I purchased in Italy, with similar options you can purchase. The first item is a gray leather snakeskin bag with silver chain details that I purchased in Florence. I am in love with this bag – it’s so chic, and you can double up the chain to wear it shorter, or even remove the chain to use it as a clutch. Here’s a closer look at the bag’s detail (posted on my Instagram from a recent happy hour). The second item is a pair of black leather embellished espadrilles. These are SO comfortable! They fit like a glove, and I feel like they were made for my feet! I purchased these in Sorrento – I was determined to buy both a bag and shoes in…

At the end of May, I departed sunny Florida on an 11-day journey to Europe – alone. Well, I wasn’t going to be completely “alone”, but I was traveling solo to Barcelona, where I would meet 38 other strangers and continue traveling together through Nice, Monaco, Cinque Terre, Sorrento, the Amalfi Coast, Capri, Rome, and Vatican City. I travel often and was itching to take an adventurous trip to explore more of Europe, but with the schedules and budgets of my friends, there’s not always a partner in crime to come along. So, I began researching tour group companies that focused on planned tours for my age range (18 to 35). I came across Contiki and remembered my friend did a tour to Greece last year with them and raved about it (more on this in a later post). After browsing through some more reviews, I was totally sold. I booked…

Chokers are all the rage right now, and they’re such a great, inexpensive trend to add to your outfit. I’m seeing tons of them on fashion influencers and celebrities, ranging from simple and black (almost ribbon-like) styles, to styles embellished in lace, beads, and gems. Growing up in the 90’s, I remember those plastic tattoo-esque chokers being such a craze, and I’m seeing girls sporting these all over again! I made my own choker, simply by tying off the elastic straps of a beaded headband that I just had siting around (take a peek at your unused headbands or craft drawers, and maybe you can even DIY yourself your own choker!). If DIY is not your style, I’ve rounded up some inexpensive options below – 10 chokers all under $10! How do you feel about the return of the choker necklace?

I currently have my eye on two gorgeous and actually seemingly comfortable pairs of shoes from Steve Madden. I have yet to bite the bullet and place the order, but the Friends & Family 25% off (and free shipping) sale has been extended another day, so I am teetering on placing the order. I mean, how amazing are both of these pairs? I tried on the gray pair recently in store (they look a bit lighter here, but they are a beautiful creamy dove gray color in person), and they seemed really comfortable, and they come in black as well. I’ve heard great things about the black lace-up pair, which I’m seeing all over Instagram this past week, and they also come in navy and tan. Want to nab a pair of Steve Maddens at 25% off?
