Weekend Recap

The past few days have been a whirlwind, and I can’t believe the weekend went by so fast! I joined a co-ed kickball team, and this past Thursday night was our first game. Not only did we win, but all of the teams meet at a local bar afterwards, and I helped our team dominate the flip cup tournament. All of those college years really paid off. Saturday, I tailgated at the UCF game (my alma mater), and Sunday I went to St. Pete for the day for a work event with some coworkers. COPYCAT TAILGATING OUTFIT

Bumble and bumble in NOLA

I just came back from an incredible trip, where Bumble and bumble was participating in the Behind the Chair Cut & Style Show, where our Global Artistic Director (and world renowned hair stylist) Laurent Philippon, took the main stage on Day 3. It was such a fun trip that included exploring New Orleans, representing Bumble and bumble at the Behind the Chair booth, networking (and playing) at the Bumble and bumble party, and seeing some amazing (as always) Bumble hair. I loved all my outfits but was so busy running around I couldn’t really take any outfit photos, but I’m going to try and at least photograph the outfits or some of the pieces to show! A Crazy Week!

This week is a crazy week! We had a special event at work on Sunday, so I’m working Sunday through Thursday, which will leave me with a free day on Friday to pack and prepare (and probably some last minute shopping) for my work trip to New Orleans. There are some fun events and parties planned (it’s always fun when you work in the beauty and fashion industry), so I’m really excited about the trip! I’ll be doing a recap once I’m back, so you can all catch a glimpse of the fun. Fall Floral Rompers

I am totally crushing on floral rompers to transition into Fall with. It’s still quite warm out here in Florida, but I love that these options are either long sleeved, or can be paired with a blazer or tights, so we can stretch them far into the Fall season! These florals are all a bit more muted and darker, which make them even more suited for the cooler weather.

New Orleans Cravings

I’m heading to New Orleans in a few weeks for work, and I’m pretty excited about it. I’ve been one other time (also for work), and I can’t wait to go back and spend a few more days there! My last trip included some sightseeing, some cocktails, and of course, some Café Du Monde beignets! The colors, liveliness, and spirit of New Orleans have inspired some recent fashion cravings.
