I did a little  a lot of shopping yesterday – but as always, it was all very wallet-friendly. I picked up some new bathroom accessories (soap dispenser, towels, bath rug) to change up the color scheme, and I’m still on the hunt for a new shower curtain. I also scored this great gray {faux} sheepskin rug at Homegoods ($16.99), which I Instagrammed while shopping, and it happens to be the exact same version I got from Homegoods in white last year {see it here}. I basically need blinders when going into a store, because I can’t help but “just quickly browse” the other departments (you know, the things I don’t actually need). I bought a few other things for my kitchen, and then of course, managed to find some gems… This nude bag with stitched chevron detail and gold chain handles was only $34.99! It’s so classic looking, and it actually…

I came across an online article this morning, questioning the new Nine West tongue-in-cheek ads. Some are calling their latest ad campaign “gross”, and “silly and insulting”. As a marketing junkie who also went to school for Advertising and Public Relations (and a lover of fashion), I don’t mind the playful headlines. I find them pretty harmless and witty, and I don’t take offense to them. Maybe it’s because I’m a sarcastic personality, or maybe it’s because I don’t think Nine West shoe ads could be “damaging to women’s health”. What do you think about the new ads? Offensive and harmful, or witty and playful?

Whoa, mama! H&M is having a HUGE, I repeat, HUGE online sale! They are giving an ADDITIONAL 50% off all sale items! This is an enormous markdown, with jeans, shoes, sweaters, and tops coming in at prices like $2.50!! I added a handful of items to my cart yesterday, but by the time I checked out, some of them were already sold out 🙁 After all was said I done, I walked away with 2 items (which was definitely okay, as I didn’t need to be shopping to begin with), but the 2 items were an absolute STEAL: Were you able to score anything from this incredible sale?

I am completely and utterly OBSESSED with these Faded Glory Women’s Knit Color Jeggings that I bought a couple of months back. I shared them on Instagram in several #ootd photos, but because I love them so much, I need to share the full deets on here. Check them out – they are stretchy, flattering, have front faux pockets, 2 real back pockets, they hug in all the right places, have a variety of colors, and they are less than $12! How could I not share these with you?!?Here are 2 different pairs. On the left is the “Burgundy Brick” color, paired with a black chiffon button down top from Forever 21 (get a similar top here and here), along with a gemstone necklace that I found randomly online (get a similar necklace here and here), and these amazing (and super comfy!) taupe booties I got a while back from Charming Charlie! (get similar booties here and…

Today, I’m donning a faux fur Betsey Johnson vest that I got a couple of years ago for $29.99! I always brought it with me on my trips to NYC (since sunny FL doesn’t call for many fur vest-wearing days), but sometimes the weather drops just enough so I won’t look like a complete idiot walking out of my door in fur! The black chiffon button down shirt is from Old Navy, and so are the black skinny jeans (Rockstar jeans, they are my FAVE and I have them in the coated style as well). The tan wedge booties are from H&M last year. I’ve put together some similar items below, so you can re-create a similar look on your own!
