If you follow me on Twitter, you probably saw me tweeting pretty often in November and the first couple of weeks in December about the blogger event I was planning. I reached out to Anna (she’s amazing!), the front desk manager or Soleil Spa Palm Aire, a local spa in Pompano Beach, to see if she would be interested in partnering to plan a South Florida beauty/fashion blogger event. A few weeks ago, you may recall that I posted about how I was invited by Nordstrom’s Beauty Social Media Specialist to Nordstrom’s Beauty Trendshow in Coral Gables, Florida. Nordstrom puts on these amazing fashion/beauty trend shows all over the country throughout the year, to debut over 20 cosmetics brands and trends, where models walk the runway in amazing outfits and makeup, while brand creators, representatives, and national makeup artists excitedly tell all of the guests about their newest products and techniques. Tomorrow is a very exciting day! Carla, the Beauty Social Media Specialist for Nordstrom, got in touch with me earlier in the week to invite me to Nordstrom’s Beauty Trend Show tomorrow in Coral Gables (Miami). As part of the show, myself and a bunch of fellow beauty bloggers get to attend the pre-show Red Carpet VIP party where we get the opportunity to speak to some beauty brand experts such as Alex Chantecaille (Chantecaille Creator), George Smart (Osmotics National Educator), John Fussell (Chanel Global Ambassador, and Thomas Saujet (Hanae Mori fragrances). As you may have read here, I was invited to attend a Lucky Magazine Dior Pretty Party here in South Florida last Friday. The event was hosted by Brittany of the blog Clumps of Mascara, and it was a hit!We met at the Dior counter in Bloomingdales, and we were escorted to a private, sectioned off area in the back of the makeup department. We started off with some yummy cupcakes!Cupcakes and makeup – what could be better? ;)National Skincare Specialist, Sheba, walked us through some fun Dior facts, as well as a complete makeup application using Dior products. I was lucky enough (no pun intended) to be invited to a Lucky Magazine Dior Pretty Party here in South Florida, by the lovely Brittany of Clumps of Mascara. I am so excited to be able to take advantage of a fun event like this, since many events I get invited to take place in NYC.The event will be a fun, glam girls night that will include cupcakes, Dior beauty experts and artists, mini-makeovers, and tips and advice from the Dior beauty team!
