I’m into the Kimono craze for Summer. I purchased a coral kimono with little pom pom style embroidered details to wear over my cut-out one piece bathing suit for the Fourth of July, and got some more use out of it during a little get-together at the pool this past Saturday (which unfortunately got rained out, so it didn’t really see too much sunlight). Still, I rocked it over a black bandeau bikini top and high waisted denim shorts. In Florida, I can get away with wearing bright + flowy kimonos a lot longer than just through the Summer season. If you want to try out the kimono trend, but not quite sure about it yet, browse through some of the below styles, all priced under $40! KIMONOS UNDER $40

I’ve been browsing a lot of “horn” necklaces lately (this House of Harlow necklace I saw and tweeted about seemed to be a hit!), and it led me to even more exploration of horn accessories of all different kinds. Whether they are literal horn pendants, or beautiful bangles made of horn-style material, I’m all about it lately! I’m especially a little overly excited about this Nicole by Nicole Miller Two-Tone Horn Layered Necklace (for $23.50!): On my horn-hunt, I’ve hunted and gathered links to all sorts of horn accessories for you to browse: Do you have any favorite horned accessories that you love? I can imagine that there are some great vintage pieces out there too!

I did a little  a lot of shopping yesterday – but as always, it was all very wallet-friendly. I picked up some new bathroom accessories (soap dispenser, towels, bath rug) to change up the color scheme, and I’m still on the hunt for a new shower curtain. I also scored this great gray {faux} sheepskin rug at Homegoods ($16.99), which I Instagrammed while shopping, and it happens to be the exact same version I got from Homegoods in white last year {see it here}. I basically need blinders when going into a store, because I can’t help but “just quickly browse” the other departments (you know, the things I don’t actually need). I bought a few other things for my kitchen, and then of course, managed to find some gems… This nude bag with stitched chevron detail and gold chain handles was only $34.99! It’s so classic looking, and it actually…

So, I’m having a magenta moment. I’m obsessing over all things magenta and fuchsia, and just took it into full force (as I wrote this post) and ordered a magenta purse to take me through the rest of Summer and into Fall (you can definitely get away with a magenta purse in “Fall” (note, the quotes) in Florida). I recently came across this one on JustFab, which is what sparked my magenta mood. It was out of stock for a while and just came back with limited quantities available, so I just ordered it (before it’s gone again!). This sparked my hunt for other magenta and fuchsia accessories, and I’ve rounded up some fun and bright options: Are you being drawn to any particular colors this season?

Nude, Buff, Oatmeal, Sand, sometimes Tan, sometimes Beige – just some terms for neutral colors that are always a perfect go-to option for any season of the year. The same way every woman should have a LBD (Little Black Dress), I think that every girl should have a Little Nude Bag. It’s the perfect option to complement any outfit, no matter the occasion or color scheme. I’m sharing my all time favorite Little Nude Bag (the Calvin Klein Modena Leather Crossbody), which I ordered online from Macy’s several years ago (if you’re like me with a Macy’s credit card, you get 20% off every purchase!). I mostly use this bag in the evenings for nights out to dinner or drinks, and it never fails me. I’ve put together a selection of budget-friendly LNBs, including the Calvin Klein version that I have (which is available in nude and white). I even included a few larger…
