Nordstrom Beauty Trend Show Re-cap

A few weeks ago, you may recall that I posted about how I was invited by Nordstrom’s Beauty Social Media Specialist to Nordstrom’s Beauty Trendshow in Coral Gables, Florida. Nordstrom puts on these amazing fashion/beauty trend shows all over the country throughout the year, to debut over 20 cosmetics brands and trends, where models walk the runway in amazing outfits and makeup, while brand creators, representatives, and national makeup artists excitedly tell all of the guests about their newest products and techniques. The entire event is high every, as all of the brand representatives and the amazing host, Nordstrom’s Beauty Director Karen DeLauro are so enthusiastic about all of the products.So…I rolled my cute butt out of bed at 5:00am (yes..5!) to ensure that I got there at 7:00am, which is when the pre-show Red Carpet VIP party started. Lovin’ Lips and Lashes!

As a BzzAgent, from time to time I am sent products that make sense for me and my lifestyle, interests, and habits, so I was recently sent some great new Maybelline products to try out and share my opinion on.I received their new mascara “Great Lash Lots of Lashes” – a new version of their infamous Great Lash mascara. The interesting part about this mascara is definitely the brush! It’s a “heart-shaped” molded brush that they call the “Great Little Grabber”. It was created to get to each and every lash with precision for lots of volume from corner to corner. You can build volume with each coat while helping to avoid clumps. I think this mascara was great to define lashes and add length, and the small precise tup definitely helps get individual lashes, corners, and bottom lashes.Next up are their new Baby Lips Lip Balms. Aveeno Eczema Therapy Cream – Even for Those Without Eczema!

While I don’t suffer from Eczema (a common skin irritation that causes patches of itchiness, redness, and other reactions on the skin), once in a while I do get random skin reactions. It could be from touching something that caused a weird reaction with my skin, shaving, or because of dryness, but I think a lot of people get unexplainable skin irritations from time to time.The Aveeno Eczema Therapy Moisturizing Cream actually came in the mail at the perfect time! Pre-Party Post for Nordstrom’s Beauty Trend Show

Tomorrow is a very exciting day! Carla, the Beauty Social Media Specialist for Nordstrom, got in touch with me earlier in the week to invite me to Nordstrom’s Beauty Trend Show tomorrow in Coral Gables (Miami). As part of the show, myself and a bunch of fellow beauty bloggers get to attend the pre-show Red Carpet VIP party where we get the opportunity to speak to some beauty brand experts such as Alex Chantecaille (Chantecaille Creator), George Smart (Osmotics National Educator), John Fussell (Chanel Global Ambassador, and Thomas Saujet (Hanae Mori fragrances). We also get an exclusive swag bag for attending, priority seating for the show, and booked for a makeup application at a counter of our choice.
