As you might know, I’m heading to NYC at the end of the week to work on an exciting project with Folica and Lomasi.  I need to start making my packing list, and I figured I would share some great beauty essentials for traveling!

Aveeno Positively Radiant Skin Brightening Daily Scrub

This facial scrub uses a unique combination of moisture-rich Soy extract (which contains Vitamin E, and has antioxidant properties which can help protect skin from environmental stresses like free radicals.) It has smooth, round microbeads that help improve skin tone, texture and clarity to reveal brighter, more radiant skin.

Aveeno Positively Ageless Correcting Tinted Moisturizer SPF 30 (Light to Medium Tint)

Formulated with SPF 30, this tinted moisturizer contains Aveeno’s Natural Shiitake Complex and vitamin C, as well as light-reflecting minerals to give smooth, lightweight coverage.  Since it gives a tint of color, contains SPF, and is a moisturizer, it’s the perfect multi-tasking face product for travel!

Clarisonic Mia 2

This godsend of a cleaning product is the best method of facial cleansing you will find.  It uses their patented micro-massage motion to gently remove impurities that you wouldn’t be able to do by using the traditional method of cleansing using your hands.  After using it for the first time, I realized that my face has never felt that clean – it’s almost like a giant electric toothbrush for your face!  The Mia 2 is an extension of their original Clarisonic Classic system, as well as the Mia (the smaller version).  The Mia 2 has a few extras, including two speeds, and a pulsing timer.  The Mia and Mia 2 can both be charged using their super cool magnetic charger.  Once it’s full charged, the battery can last weeks, depending on how often you use it, and how long you use it each time.  It’s so convenient, and perfect for travel!

got2b Powder’ful Volumizing Styling Powder

This volumizing styling powder gives you an instant root lift for a boost of volume and texture.  You can shake a small amount into hands, or directly onto roots, and rub it in with your fingertips.  You can follow by teasing with a comb for extra volume.  Since it’s a powder, it even works like a dry shampoo, to soak up oil from hair!  I love taking traveling with this – if my hair looks flat in the morning, I give it a little boost, and I’m good to go!
