I had such a great long Labor Day Weekend. One of my closest friends came to visit from med school in Atlanta, and we had lots of fun -filled with (too much) food and (too many) cocktails! We started with pedicures on Saturday, followed by exploring the Plant Street Market in Winter Garden, Florida. The market is kind of like a very mini Chelsea Market, with a feel of local food, vendors, and a brewery. We indulged in food by Five Thymes Five and a beer flight from Crooked Can Brewing Company. Sunday was definitely a “Sunday Funday”. Bottomless mimosas followed by some bar hopping in Downtown Orlando. That called for a casual and relaxing Monday, spent with Brooklyn Water Company bagels in the morning, and the rest of the day resting in bed. I hope everyone had a fun Labor Day! I’m off to Dallas Wednesday through Sunday, so…

If you follow me on Instagram, you probably have seen my obsession about the workout craze that is taking over – barre. It’s a mix of ballet, pilates, strength training, and a bit of cardio (because it definitely gets your heart rate pumping). I was solely taking classes at a local barre studio, but it closed back in February, so I’ve been an active member of ClassPass (which is amazing, and you can read about it some more, here). You can take unlimited classes at multiple fitness studios in your city, and even other major cities when you travel! It’s not just barre, I take boot camp, pilates, cardio classes – there’s something for everyone! Obsessed with any combination of oats/greek yogurt/bananas/almond butter. I am loving BearNaked Protein Granola – it’s lower in carbs and sugar which is rare for granola, and high in protein! Not to anyone’s surprise, my smoothie is the one…

I’m so excited to be attending the Downtown Food & Wine Fest this Saturday in Orlando! This is the Seventh Annual Downtown Food & Wine Fest, and it will be a two day event on Saturday, February 21 and Sunday, February 22, 2015 with more than 30,000 local Orlando food and wine lovers. Take a look at the incredible turnout from one of the past Downtown Food & Wine Fests! This year, the Fest will be packed with 30 of Orlando’s best restaurants, 50 domestic and international wines and live entertainment by Lifehouse and LOVERBOY. Admission is $15 per person, per day with advance online purchase. Admission at the door is $20 per person, per day. Admission for children under age 12 is free. Food and beverage tickets are available at the Fest for $2 each (the food and beverage offerings range from one to four tickets). If you’re interested in finding out more information…

On Sunday, I went to our local (HUGE) Farmer’s Market, where hundreds of people attend to shop local vendors, eat some local food, and walk around the park with their family, friends, and dogs! The weather finally dropped down (a little) – enough to where it is finally starting to feel like Fall. I was originally going to wear the below outfit, but then for fear that the mid-day Florida sun would bump the temperature back up a little, I swapped the plaid long sleeved shirt for a black tank. I figured with the booties and the hat, a tank would balance out those warmer pieces.    RECREATE MY LOOK
