This past Sunday finally hit some Florida “Fall-ish” temperatures, which was perfect for an outdoor brunch, complete with a wool fedora. This fedora is actually still available in black or burgundy, and for only $12. You can shop it through this link (hurry, before it’s gone!). Brunch was at The Briarpatch, a busy local spot on Park Avenue in Winter Park, Florida. The food is always oh-so-photo-worthy. {outfit details: fedora / similar cream cape tops: option 1, option 2 / gray skinny jeans / similar nude ballet flats: option 1 / option 2, / tan crossbody bag (sold out right now), similar gold arrow necklaces: option 1 / option 2 (lower priced) / best bitches necklace}

I am thoroughly obsessed with these chunky olive green lace-up heels that I have been sporting for the past couple of months. They are truly comfortable and the color is perfect for Fall, but can transition to any season. The brand of these is Parker & Sky and I couldn’t find the exact pair, but I was inspired by the olive color and found some great options in similar colors. See below for my recommendations (if the shoe isn’t shown in olive or dark green, simply click the shoe to view the other color options).

I had such a great long Labor Day Weekend. One of my closest friends came to visit from med school in Atlanta, and we had lots of fun -filled with (too much) food and (too many) cocktails! We started with pedicures on Saturday, followed by exploring the Plant Street Market in Winter Garden, Florida. The market is kind of like a very mini Chelsea Market, with a feel of local food, vendors, and a brewery. We indulged in food by Five Thymes Five and a beer flight from Crooked Can Brewing Company. Sunday was definitely a “Sunday Funday”. Bottomless mimosas followed by some bar hopping in Downtown Orlando. That called for a casual and relaxing Monday, spent with Brooklyn Water Company bagels in the morning, and the rest of the day resting in bed. I hope everyone had a fun Labor Day! I’m off to Dallas Wednesday through Sunday, so…

I’ve been gravitating towards gray for some time now. The past few seasons, I just can’t stay away. There are so many shades of gray and it’s a color that can easily be taken from day to night with the right accessories and shoes, which makes it such a flexible color for staple pieces and separates. Last night I paired this navy snakeskin French Connection clutch with these gray MIA open toe wedge booties to work these neutral pieces into my look. I’ve put together some great gray staples + navy clutch options to get ready for the Fall season:

If you’re IG obsessed like I am, you have probably seen that Instagram’s app update last week included the ability to now post photos in portrait and landscape – an update to the square photo parameters that the app has had since it’s launch. This is a feature that will change the Instagram game by allowing for less stringent cropping and some flexibility with creativity. You will start to see (if you haven’t already) some different sized photos when scrolling through your feed, however, these non-square photos will be cropped and centered when shown on your profile feed. The gram must be on a roll with updates, because yesterday they launched five additional features. You can now share photos directly with friends (rather than tagging them in a photo that you want them to see), create groups for direct messages, use super-sized emojis, reply with photos, and have threaded messages for DMs, rather than needing…

Everyone, listen up! Old Navy is having a MAJ sale today, giving an ADDITIONAL 40% off (including clearance!). With my obsession of ClassPass classes, I am doing more workout classes than ever before, and I cannot keep up with the laundry! I am in desperate need of more workout gear, and I love Old Navy’s activewear. Here are some of the items I just snagged (note: the sale prices below are BEFORE the additional 40% off that you will get using code: YESPLEASE). I also couldn’t help but pick up a few more casual daytime pieces (shown in the last row).
