I had a fun weekend visiting family and friends this past weekend in South Florida! It included some great weather, and a night out in Miami with my bestie, who just moved back from NYC! SHOTSKI (Andy Cohen would be proud)
Tomorrow is a very exciting day! Carla, the Beauty Social Media Specialist for Nordstrom, got in touch with me earlier in the week to invite me to Nordstrom’s Beauty Trend Show tomorrow in Coral Gables (Miami). As part of the show, myself and a bunch of fellow beauty bloggers get to attend the pre-show Red Carpet VIP party where we get the opportunity to speak to some beauty brand experts such as Alex Chantecaille (Chantecaille Creator), George Smart (Osmotics National Educator), John Fussell (Chanel Global Ambassador, and Thomas Saujet (Hanae Mori fragrances). We also get an exclusive swag bag for attending, priority seating for the show, and booked for a makeup application at a counter of our choice. As you may have read here, I was invited to attend a Lucky Magazine Dior Pretty Party here in South Florida last Friday. The event was hosted by Brittany of the blog Clumps of Mascara, and it was a hit!We met at the Dior counter in Bloomingdales, and we were escorted to a private, sectioned off area in the back of the makeup department. We started off with some yummy cupcakes!Cupcakes and makeup – what could be better? ;)National Skincare Specialist, Sheba, walked us through some fun Dior facts, as well as a complete makeup application using Dior products. As she demonstrated the steps on several of the girls, Dior freelance makeup artists applied complete makeup looks on all of the guests.
