CAbi Spring 2015 Collection and Fashion Show

I’ve partnered with CAbi Clothing in the past, and I’m really excited that they will be in Orlando this Friday for their bi-annual “The Scoop”, where they bring together their expansive network of 3,500 female entrepreneurs (called Stylists), to celebrate their accomplishments over the past season and introduce the newest Fall 2015 Collection. They’ve invited me to attend their fashion show and blogger cocktail party, and even gave me a peek at the upcoming Fall collection (which I can’t share just yet!). I was also able to choose some of my favorites from their Spring 2015 collection to adorn to the show. Before I share what I’ll be wearing to the fashion show, I have to share how much I am loving their “Coco Button Necklace”. I’ve worn it a few times already, and I’ve received so many compliments. INGLOT at Aventura

To get prepared for our The Blogger Meetup Miami Meet + Sweet event, fellow Co-founder Danielle (who blogs over at Shikshin) and I were so excited by the offer from the INGLOT store in Aventura to get our makeup done for our event! The Aventura store is beautiful – it’s so bright and colorful, it’s definitely like being a kid in a candy store! My makeup was done by Laura, and she was AMAZING! She did an incredible job, even on our tight time crunch! I am also totally in love with the foundation she used – it lasted through the Miami heat all day and night. It was the HD Perfect Coverup Foundation (I was shade 76). Thanks to the amazing team and INGLOT and the sweet ladies in the Aventura store for our beautiful looks!

Nordstrom Beauty Trend Show Re-cap

A few weeks ago, you may recall that I posted about how I was invited by Nordstrom’s Beauty Social Media Specialist to Nordstrom’s Beauty Trendshow in Coral Gables, Florida. Nordstrom puts on these amazing fashion/beauty trend shows all over the country throughout the year, to debut over 20 cosmetics brands and trends, where models walk the runway in amazing outfits and makeup, while brand creators, representatives, and national makeup artists excitedly tell all of the guests about their newest products and techniques. The entire event is high every, as all of the brand representatives and the amazing host, Nordstrom’s Beauty Director Karen DeLauro are so enthusiastic about all of the products.So…I rolled my cute butt out of bed at 5:00am (yes..5!) to ensure that I got there at 7:00am, which is when the pre-show Red Carpet VIP party started. Pre-Party Post for Nordstrom’s Beauty Trend Show

Tomorrow is a very exciting day! Carla, the Beauty Social Media Specialist for Nordstrom, got in touch with me earlier in the week to invite me to Nordstrom’s Beauty Trend Show tomorrow in Coral Gables (Miami). As part of the show, myself and a bunch of fellow beauty bloggers get to attend the pre-show Red Carpet VIP party where we get the opportunity to speak to some beauty brand experts such as Alex Chantecaille (Chantecaille Creator), George Smart (Osmotics National Educator), John Fussell (Chanel Global Ambassador, and Thomas Saujet (Hanae Mori fragrances). We also get an exclusive swag bag for attending, priority seating for the show, and booked for a makeup application at a counter of our choice. Recap from Aventura Lucky/Dior Pretty Party!

As you may have read here, I was invited to attend a Lucky Magazine Dior Pretty Party here in South Florida last Friday. The event was hosted by Brittany of the blog Clumps of Mascara, and it was a hit!We met at the Dior counter in Bloomingdales, and we were escorted to a private, sectioned off area in the back of the makeup department. We started off with some yummy cupcakes!Cupcakes and makeup – what could be better? ;)National Skincare Specialist, Sheba, walked us through some fun Dior facts, as well as a complete makeup application using Dior products. As she demonstrated the steps on several of the girls, Dior freelance makeup artists applied complete makeup looks on all of the guests.
