The W Fort Lauderdale has revealed the first phase of its $55 million-dollar renovation, and I received a peek of it’s glamorous new lobby, sushi bar,  and beautiful rooftop WET deck pool. The fresh and beautiful designs include updates to the entire property, both hotel (517 rooms) and residences. My boyfriend and I spent Memorial Day lounging at the WET deck, sipping on their signature cocktails, munching on some bites, and soaking in the sun (luckily, umbrellas were handy for the hot Florida day). The hotel will be completing it’s renovation with the debut of a new 4,000 square foot ballroom and an oceanfront restaurant from James Beard Award nominee, Stephen Starr (can’t wait to check that out for myself!). I had such a fun weekend getaway in Key West! I road tripped for a long weekend with a bunch of friends, and the weekend included cocktails, sun, snorkeling, delicious food, and exploring some Key West sites!

My mom and I took a little beach getaway trip this past week to Lido Beach in Sarasota. We stayed right on the beach, which was also less than a mile from St. Armands Circle – the cutest little area with a ton of adorable shops and restaurants! Besides lounging on the beach, we managed to get some shopping in, where I picked up a few accessories. Below is a little recap of some of my outfits and purchases.
