Get your mind out of the gutter! I’m talking about shoe bootie love, and how my craving for the perfect black heeled shoe bootie is back and bigger than ever! Before we turn around, it’s going to be Fall and I’ll be traveling to NYC several times this Fall/Winter, so I definitely need a new hot black bootie!I had a pair that I dearly loved – closed toe, chunky heel, super comfy, and hit at just the right spot, right above my ankles. I got them on MAJ clearance (umm, hello $5 perfect bootie) (P.S. My Ongoing Love for DSW

Through my blog and Twitter, I have definitely professed my ongoing love for shoe retailer DSW. They have trendy shoes at affordable prices, and I have lucked out many times, scoring anywhere from 50% to nearly 90% off, with their clearance deals combined with my rewards certificates. (And now there is one literally across the street from my new apartment…trouble!)My friend’s beach wedding is coming up in May, so I need a neutral wedge to complement my beachy, hi-low handkerchief-style dress. Last weekend I attended a bridal shower for one of my closest friends. As most bridal showers are, it was a daytime/brunch-esque type of shower. I put together an outfit after nabbing this fabulous shirt that I found in JcPenney:As soon as I spotted it in the store, I completely fell in love! (I didn’t know it at the time, but as I searched their website for the link, I saw that this was one of People Stylewatch Editors’ handpicked favorites!)
