So, I’ve been in-active for quite a while.  I’ve had a lot going on including my MacBook Pro being stolen 🙁,  moving to a brand new apartment that I’m obsessed with (and having a blast decorating!), and about to open an etsy shop!  I figured I would share an update via photos, to share what I’ve been up to.  I’m very active on instagram, so if you’re an instagram user, be sure to follow me (@marissalynne).  I post everything from recipes, to outfits, to recent home decor and fashion purchases.  That’s actually where I’m pulling all of the pictures I’m sharing below!

Currently one of the books on my coffee table.  Nabbed this at TJMaxx for $5!
DIY Paint Sample Magnets.  Lowe’s has allen + roth paint samples that are not only stylish colors, but super cute names, like: Fashion Week, Park Avenue, Hail a Cab, and Girls Night Out.  They come a bit larger than below, but I snipped off the bottom, hot glued a small strip of magnet to the back, and voila!
Holiday gifts from AVEENO, to thank me for being a brand ambassador.  This Danielle and Company candle smells A-MAZE!
Another book for my living room end table.  Got this baby on ebay for less than $5, including shipping!
Rose gold and bling necklace I got at TJMaxx when I was in Houston!

My apartment is all about mixed-metallics.  The bowl in the middle is a funky metal bowl with tones of gold and silver, and I scored these placements on clearance at my local TJMaxx for $2.00 each!
Luckily, my apartment has a built-in bookcase.  This definitely made me happy, because it’s extra space for fun decor!  Here are 2 great steals I got from my local Marshall’s that are now living on my bookcase.
The Makeup Show Orlando took place at The Peabody Orlando Hotel in November.  I instagrammed a bunch of pictures from the show, and I was also lucky enough to connect with Krista, the Spa Group Sales Manager for Peabody Orlando, ahead of time, and she offered me a service while I was staying there.
(P.S. Our suite was amazing, and had a TV installed behind the bathroom mirror.
I need that in my future home.)
For my spa service, I chose their seasonal Cinnamon Splendor Massage.  Holy-amazingness!  For someone who is obsessed with fall scents, this was the holy grail of delish aromatherapy massages!  The fragrance of the massage oil was so intoxicating, I didn’t want to wash it off later that day!

I’ve instagrammed and tweeted about these before, but I am just so impressed with this fashion-score of mine.  I’m always great at finding a bargain (I get a thrill out of finding a treasure amongst clearance items),
so when I found these Steve Madden studded skull loafers (originally $98, if not more) for $14.99
I was ecstatic!
ETSY Announcement
I have always had so many ideas for businesses and ventures going around and around in my head, so I finally decided to dive into one of them.  I am opening an etsy shop to sell prints that I have designed!  Everything is almost ready to go, I just need to finalize a few more things, which I plan to do tonight, and then my shop should be up and running.  The prints are sized at 8×10, but I can definitely do custom sizes and colors!  Here is a sneak peek at a Parisian Collection of 4 prints that will be for sale.  I am selling them individually as well.  *Frame/matting is not included.  All listings will be only for the print.*
I would love your thoughts and feedback on these!  Once the shop is officially launched, I will be doing another post to feature some more images, and provide the link to the store!
So glad I was able to give a re-cap of what I have been up to, and I plan to do some more reviews and photo re-caps like this.  I definitely plan to share some more photos of my apartment as it is coming along!  I need to take a new photo of my fabulous mirrored coffee table, now that it is styled with accessories.
