Typically, when I thought of Hollister Co, I thought of middle school beach boys and bohemian girls with a preppy twist. When I re-visited their online options, I realized that they have some great denim options (and sales!) for me.
I was introduced to some of their denim, and some features that I didn’t know they offered! They have a no-slip wasitband that lays flat (so that it doesn’t cut into your waist), which also has memory, so they last after washing. The back pocket placement is flattering, and although they offer some trendy styles (embellishment, stitching details, etc…), they also have some great classic fits and washes. Their denim seems to be great quality, and they offer a wide range of styles and sizes. Here’s a look at a couple of the styles I am loving!
I was also asked to create a “Back to School” look on Polyvore, with my favorite pair of Hollister jeans. I chose the Ryan Super Skinny Jeans (currently on sale for $25!). Because I’m in my mid-twenties, I opted for a grad school “Back to School” look, as that’s a bit more fitting for my age. I kept it fun, casual, young, and light (no one wants to be uncomortable while sitting in class all day).
