I’ve been using the Positively Ageless Daily Exfoliating Cleanser these past couple of weeks and I absolutely love it!
It’s a light foaming cleanser with tiny microbeads that are able to exfoliate and remove dead skin, dirt, and other impurities, but since the beads are so tiny, the cleanser is gentle enough to use daily, unlike other stronger exfoliators. I LOVE the way this cleanser smells – the fragrance is so fresh and natural. Besides the shiitake extract, it also has seaweed extract, hydrolyzed wheat protein which nourishes skin and minimizes pores.
The Positively Ageless Youth Perfecting Moisturizer is a nourishing lotion with SPF 30 which reduces the appearance of lines and wrinkles to reveal younger looking skin. It supplies advanced sun protection and helps fight signs of aging and sun damage. It also uses the same Shiitake Complex to create softer, smoother, healthier skin.
The moisturizer is dispensed from the pump, and is pretty thick in viscosity but absorbs into the skin pretty quickly. I have been using this in the morning or before leaving my house during the day, since it has SPF, and tend to use my non-SPF moisturizers at night. After applying, I usually give it some time to dry and absorb before I start applying any makeup. It acts and feels a little more like a sunblock than a moisturizer to me, but it’s great because it has properties of both which make it a great all-in-one product!
As always, I’m impressed by Aveeno and these two products are definitely worth trying!
