I post about all types of sweets and treats, including some local South Florida favorites such as The Salty Donut, Mojo Donuts, and Cream (which I actually visited for the first time in San Francisco over a year ago). 
And now, I’m going to be firing up my tastebuds for the second annual Donuts! festival, here in Miami. The event is going to be held on Thursday, March 30 at the popular Wynwood venue, MAPS Backlot, where donut-lovers citywide will unite to indulge in some of the best that South Florida has to offer. Some of the confirmed vendors will include Circus Eats, Dunkin’ Donuts, Krispy Kreme, Mojo Doughnuts, and YoNutz – Gourmet Donuts and Ice Cream, Jupiter Donuts, The One Donut Company, and Crave Clean, as well as beverage sponsors Concrete Beach Brewery, Voss, Deep Eddy Vodka, and Nespresso.
The festival was created as a passion project by local PR agency, Vine Communications, who have partnered with United Way of Miami-Dade to donate a portion of all ticket proceeds to the organization. General Admission tickets receive unlimited donut samples and two complimentary beer tickets from Concrete Beach Brewery, while VIP tickets include GA + one hour early entry, a complimentary sponsored bar, access to indoor + air conditioned facilities and small bites.
I hope to see my fellow Miami dessert-lovers in attendance. I’ll be there, probably already in a sugar coma.
