Lived-In Hair

I’m totally inspired by the cover of the most recent issue of Elle Magazine, donning the stunning Margot Robbie who you probably know as Leo DiCaprio’s Brooklynite wife from The Wolf of Wall Street, or more recently, the sidekick to Will Smith in the movie Focus (P.S. I rented this movie a couple of weeks ago and LOVED it!).

Her lived-in hair look is a true testament to the “un-done but done” texture that is the newest hair trend, and (I’m partial) something that Bumble and bumble is known to excel at. That, paired with a deep red gloss stain has me excited enough that it’s Friday (happy hour is calling my name!). I put together a couple of my favorite Bumble and bumble products that are the perfect fit for this texture: Prêt-à-Powder, a microfine loose powder that can not only be used as a dry shampoo, but can be shaken on or “pouf-ed on” all over the head to add some texture and volume. Cityswept Finish is a lightweight spray balm that automatically gives that lived-in look. Think of having a great blowdry that sometimes looks even better on day 2. Lightly misting this on hair and massaging it in gives you that great look instantly, de-puffing hair and adding some sheen.
