I recently had the opportunity to test out some new Clean and Clear products from their Makeup Dissolving line. First off, these Makeup Dissolving Facial Cleansing Wipes smell fantastic, and I love that the makeup dissolving product in the wipes, doesn’t have oil in it. It makes my face feel a lot cleaner. I first used the wipes to remove my eye makeup. I use A LOT of mascara, so I was curious to how well the wipes would do the job. It took me two wipes to get off the mascara of both eyes, but I blame some of that on the fact that I know my mascara is pretty stubborn to get off, and the wipes probably aren’t made for that – (that’s where the eye makeup remover comes in). When you use the wipes on your face, there’s no reason to really even rinse, because they leave your skin feeling really clean, but I did splash some water on my eyes after I removed my mascara. I went away for the weekend last weekend, so the package of wipes was perfect (an adhesive sticker lifts up and can be resealed to keep the wipes fresh).
The Eye Makeup remover is also Oil Free, which makes it feel cleaner, but at first I was hesitant because I usually use a damp cotton ball with baby oil to remove my eye makeup, and then wash my eyes with facewash after to remove the oil. However, the eye makeup remover did a great job. It feels so cool and clean and really was soothing.
