The lovely J’s Everyday Fashion started the Central Florida Lady Blogger Facebook group, so that us girl bloggers can meet and mingle.  They do a meetup every month at a different restaurant, and this past Wednesday was the first one I attended.  It was actually a little different, as it was at Barnie’s CoffeeKitchen on Park Avenue in Winter Park, and Barnie’s actually hosted us there!  They closed the entire place down to host us as a private event, where there were some amazing things in store for us!

{We were greeted outside with a delicious champagne cocktail – cava based with an ice cube infused with grapefruit and ginger.  Once inside, we found an a custom menu of delish food that we would be served.}
{The President of Barnie’s CoffeeKitchenJonathan Smiga, was in attendence.  He really shared the vision of Barnie’s, and spoke about the amazing process of the roasting of their fresh coffee everyday, and emphasized the incredible quality of their fresh food ingredients.}
For those of you who don’t know, Barnie’s CoffeeKitchen is actually headquartered out of Orlando! I am so glad that I got to hear all about Barnie’s philosophy and process of creating their coffee and food.  They are all about a sense of community, and opening their doors to allow people to enjoy their atmosphere and delicious offerings.  Read more about their story, coffee, and kitchen
{Coffee spiced ahi tuna with a hericot vert salad with olive oil vinaigrette and avocado puree.}

{Watermelon and heirloom tomato salad with arugula, queso fresco, sunflower seeds, and white balsamic vinaigrette.}

The baristas made us custom lattes.  I asked the barista to “surprise me”, and the outcome was beautiful and delicious!

{Custom latte = AMAZE}

{The evening ended with a delicious, refreshing pana cotta dessert.}

We were handed a swag bag as we left, and as I instagrammed/tweeted that night, it was definitely the best smelling swag bag I ever received.  Lots of Barnie’s CoffeeKitchen goodies that I am excited to try!

Learning more about Barnie’s CoffeeKitchen, I am definitely a new, devoted fan.  I had been once or twice before, but I am excited to have a new insight on their amazing coffee drinks and their very broad and sophisticated menu.  They will also be opening one in Downtown Orlando, which I am very excited about!
I was also really happy to meet and mingle with other local bloggers.  I met a few great girls who I will definitely be keeping in touch with, and I am really excited to continue going to the local blogger meetups!
Are you a fan of Barnie’s CoffeeKitchen?  What’s your favorite thing on their menu?
