UNCOVERED Fashion Show in Orlando

UNCOVERED (in Orlando) was created to spotlight those who strive to continually make Orlando the “City Beautiful” through the use of fashion and the art of storytelling. With their initiatives, they hope to expose both visitors and residents to another side of Orlando.On November 9, 2013, UNCOVERED will be hosting a local fashion show to help promote literacy and Orlando’s local artists and community. Meshing fashion and literacy together, local choreographers and stylists were asked to give their interpretation of one of the following stories: The Great Gatsby, Divergent, and Where the Wild Things Are, in an effort to bring awareness to the progess being made at downtown Orlando’s local library, to build a media center for the city’s ever evolving, creative community.Tickets for the fashion show are priced from $7.50 to 50.00 and can be bought online at www.orlandouncvrd.com. Recent Trip to NYC

If you follow me on Twitter and/or Instagram, you probably saw me posting pictures last weekend/early this week of my excursions around NYC. I was there Labor Day weekend to visit my best friend, and along with galavanting around the city and lots of eating, we of course managed to do some shopping.My friend had to work on Friday, so I ran around the city by myself, of course making a long pit stop at the Macy’s in Herald Square – my favorite Macy’s, and the world’s largest store! I could easily spend an entire day roaming around the eight floor empire, especially since they have a handful of restaurants and cafes right inside!I found these amazing Via Spiga “Nellie” cashew colored cutout heels (originally $280) for less than $50 after my Macy’s coupon! When roaming the Austin airport in search of a latte before my flight back to Florida, my coworker and I passed by a typical airport store that sells everything from candy bars to touristy t-shirts. Lido Beach/Sarasota Recap

My mom and I took a little beach getaway trip this past week to Lido Beach in Sarasota. We stayed right on the beach, which was also less than a mile from St. Armands Circle – the cutest little area with a ton of adorable shops and restaurants! Besides lounging on the beach, we managed to get some shopping in, where I picked up a few accessories. Below is a little recap of some of my outfits and purchases. My Parternship with Folica and Lomasi

My Day of Pampering at the Four Seasons

In honor of the Four Seasons’ National Spa Week, they invited a select group of social media influencers to some of their nationwide resorts to enjoy a spa day! Being based in South Florida, I was invited to the Four Seasons Palm Beach resort to indulge in their Spa and Beach Retreat package.
