It’s just a matter of days until I fly off to Sin City, so I’m sharing my ultimate Vegas essentials, to keep me comfy and prepared during my trip (and your future trip!)A cozy, drapey sweater for the flight…A pair of fun and stylish (but inexpensive) sunnies. No one wants to lose designer sunglasses while day drinking… A durable, easy to clean, oversized tote…A travel-makeup case to hold all of your beauty essentials…Lay-n-Go CosmoDeluxe Tri-Fold Hanging Cosmetics BagI’m actually excited about the second bad boy. It’s called the Lay-n-Go (this style is the Cosmo) and this is going to be my first trip with it! It’s a convertible makeup/toiletries bag. It opens up to be flat, so you can load all of your beauty goodies inside (it even has an inside pocket for small items like jewelry or medicine), and when you are ready to pack it up, you just pull…

I’ll be heading to Las Vegas within the next few weeks for a weekend trip, which includes seeing Britney Spears performing at Planet Hollywood as part of her “Piece of Me” Las Vegas residency. I’m super excited and I already have one of my nighttime outfits picked out, and I’m still brainstorming for the other. This inspired me to take a look at some fun, flirty dresses that I would consider Vegas-worth. Take a look at these options – also perfect for a special night out on the town! What do you think? Flashy enough, but still wearable (so you can wear them again for another occasion!)

Thanks to Marsha at Pretzel Crisps (who I met at one of the Central Florida Lady Blogger Meetups, which I posted about here), last weekend I had the opportunity to attend the Seminole Hard Rock Wine and Food Festival in South Florida! My tickets included access to the festival an hour early, and access to the VIP lounges, including the Pretzel Crisps suite!I attended this a couple of years ago with some friends, and had an amazing time, so I was super excited to get the chance to go again! With your ticket, you get unlimited food tastings and drinks (it’s SO worth it!). There are a variety of South Florida based restaurants there, giving out (generous) samples, and over 100 vendors giving (generous) pours of wine, champagne, vodka, rum, tequila, beer, and more. Here are some of my highlights that I managed to snap in between my bites and sips! I also posted…

UNCOVERED (in Orlando) was created to spotlight those who strive to continually make Orlando the “City Beautiful” through the use of fashion and the art of storytelling. With their initiatives, they hope to expose both visitors and residents to another side of Orlando. On November 9, 2013, UNCOVERED will be hosting a local fashion show to help promote literacy and Orlando’s local artists and community. Meshing fashion and literacy together, local choreographers and stylists were asked to give their interpretation of one of the following stories: The Great Gatsby, Divergent, and Where the Wild Things Are, in an effort to bring awareness to the progess being made at downtown Orlando’s local library, to build a media center for the city’s ever evolving, creative community.Tickets for the fashion show are priced from $7.50 to 50.00 and can be bought online at www.orlandouncvrd.com. Proceeds will go toward funding future events with UNCOVERED so…

If you follow me on Twitter and/or Instagram, you probably saw me posting pictures last weekend/early this week of my excursions around NYC. I was there Labor Day weekend to visit my best friend, and along with galavanting around the city and lots of eating, we of course managed to do some shopping. My friend had to work on Friday, so I ran around the city by myself, of course making a long pit stop at the Macy’s in Herald Square – my favorite Macy’s, and the world’s largest store! I could easily spend an entire day roaming around the eight floor empire, especially since they have a handful of restaurants and cafes right inside!I found these amazing Via Spiga “Nellie” cashew colored cutout heels (originally $280) for less than $50 after my Macy’s coupon! They were on clearance for 75% off, and I got another 20% off with my coupon/Macy’s…

When roaming the Austin airport in search of a latte before my flight back to Florida, my coworker and I passed by a typical airport store that sells everything from candy bars to touristy t-shirts. We popped in to grab some snacks for our flight, but our eyes both landed on this super fun tank top by Tyler’s Austin (our flight was just a few days before Fourth of July).{Tyler’s Austin Mustache Flag Tank}They also had the mustache tank in pink and lime green, and when scoping out their website, I came across the super cute black “vintage style” Austin tank below, and I can already think of a ton of ways I would love to style it!{Tyler’s TX Mustache Tank in Pink (also comes in Lime and t-shirt versions)}{Vintage style Austin tank}They have a ton of cute men’s and women’s apparel and accessories, but the tanks above are definitely my…
