I headed to beach yesterday with a new friend that I made, and sported this cut-out one piece swimsuit that is perfect for the tropical summer weather (I’m linking similar suits below). We sipped (super inexpensive) rosé and sangria – I am not kidding when I say that the wine is cheaper than water here. Especially because the wine is local, you can get a decent bottle for less than  €1.50. Yes. I bought a BOX of rosé (specifically for ease at the beach) for €.62. That’s less than a euro. Crazy.  Barceloneta beach is a bit more touristy, but I had to experience it once while here. There are a ton of other stunning beaches that locals go to, so I plan to make it to several of those throughout my stay here. Here are some similar options for tropical swimsuits and cut-out one pieces:

Although I am still working on a full recap post of the rest of my Europe trip, I’m sharing a look featuring two items that I purchased in Italy, with similar options you can purchase. The first item is a gray leather snakeskin bag with silver chain details that I purchased in Florence. I am in love with this bag – it’s so chic, and you can double up the chain to wear it shorter, or even remove the chain to use it as a clutch. Here’s a closer look at the bag’s detail (posted on my Instagram from a recent happy hour). The second item is a pair of black leather embellished espadrilles. These are SO comfortable! They fit like a glove, and I feel like they were made for my feet! I purchased these in Sorrento – I was determined to buy both a bag and shoes in…

Chokers are all the rage right now, and they’re such a great, inexpensive trend to add to your outfit. I’m seeing tons of them on fashion influencers and celebrities, ranging from simple and black (almost ribbon-like) styles, to styles embellished in lace, beads, and gems. Growing up in the 90’s, I remember those plastic tattoo-esque chokers being such a craze, and I’m seeing girls sporting these all over again! I made my own choker, simply by tying off the elastic straps of a beaded headband that I just had siting around (take a peek at your unused headbands or craft drawers, and maybe you can even DIY yourself your own choker!). If DIY is not your style, I’ve rounded up some inexpensive options below – 10 chokers all under $10! How do you feel about the return of the choker necklace?

I currently have my eye on two gorgeous and actually seemingly comfortable pairs of shoes from Steve Madden. I have yet to bite the bullet and place the order, but the Friends & Family 25% off (and free shipping) sale has been extended another day, so I am teetering on placing the order. I mean, how amazing are both of these pairs? I tried on the gray pair recently in store (they look a bit lighter here, but they are a beautiful creamy dove gray color in person), and they seemed really comfortable, and they come in black as well. I’ve heard great things about the black lace-up pair, which I’m seeing all over Instagram this past week, and they also come in navy and tan. Want to nab a pair of Steve Maddens at 25% off? I’m obsessed with Nikes. They are the only style of shoes that I can walk around in for hours on end without pain. I have a pinched nerve on the bottom of my left foot that can sometimes give me issues when on my feet for a while, and Nikes are a godsend when it comes to traveling and walking. Nike is have a 20% OFF sale with code MOTION, and I am all over it. This means 20% of ALL items including sale! Plus, if you create a free Nike+ account, you get free shipping on any items, all the time (a no brainer). I’m eyeing these bad boys below, which are already on sale before the 20% off.

I’m back from another trip to NYC. I went up for a childhood friend’s wedding, so I was able to spend the weekend in NYC before heading to New Jersey on Sunday for the wedding festivities. The weekend was jam packed with a trip to the 9/11 Memorial Museum, the One World Trade Observatory, meetups with friends, and a peek backstage at the Hervé Léger NYFW show, all before heading to celebrate a Valentine’s Day wedding. The wedding reception was at the glamorous Nanina’s in the Park, where we spent the night dancing under the stunning chandeliers, and indulging in the outrageous amount of food and cocktails. The next day was followed by a little snowstorm to send me back to Florida (luckily without any major flight delays). The temperatures for my time in New York were planned to hit a MAJOR low (that Saturday, the low was 1 degree. ONE.), so…
