BB Crush

I have a new BB Cream crush – it’s smooth, dewy, has the perfect amount of coverage, and is easy to apply.  It’s L’oreal’s Magic Skin Beautifier BB Cream.  It’s part of L’oreal’s “Magic by Studio Secrets Professional” Collection, which also includes their Perfecting Base Face Primer, Smooth Soufflé Blush, Lumi Light Infusing Prime, and Lumi Highlighter.


If you don’t know, the concept of BB Cream is the idea of an “all-in-one” face product.  It’s supposed to even out skin tone, give coverage and cover blemishes, provide moisturizing benefits, give skin a flawless dewy glow, and sometimes even provide SPF.  This particular BB Cream definitely hits the all-in-one mark, using “Beautifying Beads”, which are encapsulated pigments infused in an ultra-light lotion with antioxidants Vitamins C&E.  (The cream comes out of the tube white, and as you apply it to your face, it turns to it’s namesake shade, and blends perfectly.)  It delivers the perfect amount of coverage for me, making my skin a smooth, radiant canvas.  I really don’t need any other face makeup after I apply the BB cream, but sometimes I add a touch of bronzer or blush. 

I snapped a picture one morning when applying it.  You can see it’s white, but it actually has tiny little speckles, and ask you apply, it just totally transforms.  It’s also pretty thin, which I love, as it doesn’t feel gunky, heavy, or cakey.
