My boyfriend and I had a great time on our 4-day adventure in Cuba, and before I work on a post with all of our great photos, I’m sharing some tips and insights and answering some FAQs that I received on Instagram. We spent time in Havana and Viñales, and I have a lot  to share. I’ll start with a few photos from our explorations, and then dive right into things you should know if you’re thinking about making the trip. {Flight + Visa} ✈ We flew with JetBlue out of Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL), who is offering great prices to Havana.  Not only does JetBlue’s flight to Havana cover your travel health insurance, but they also handle all of the details for your visa, which you just pick up and pay for at the ticket counter when you arrive at the airport. {Exchanging Money} $ If you’re traveling from the U.S.,…

The W Fort Lauderdale has revealed the first phase of its $55 million-dollar renovation, and I received a peek of it’s glamorous new lobby, sushi bar,  and beautiful rooftop WET deck pool. The fresh and beautiful designs include updates to the entire property, both hotel (517 rooms) and residences. My boyfriend and I spent Memorial Day lounging at the WET deck, sipping on their signature cocktails, munching on some bites, and soaking in the sun (luckily, umbrellas were handy for the hot Florida day). The hotel will be completing it’s renovation with the debut of a new 4,000 square foot ballroom and an oceanfront restaurant from James Beard Award nominee, Stephen Starr (can’t wait to check that out for myself!). If you live in South Florida, The W Hotel Fort Lauderdale is a perfect getaway within your own backyard, where you can enjoy beachfront dining and enjoy their rooftop pool, and for visitors,…

Do you ever find that perfect, sexy top with a deeply cut neckline, only to be frustrated when not having the right bra to wear with it? Nothing can ruin an outfit more than parts of a stubborn bra sticking out and completely disrupting your décolleté. Well, I’ve found a bra that does the trick when it comes to providing support and allowing you to discreetly and tastefully show off your deep-V tops.  Introducing, THIRDLOVE’s Perfect Contour Plunge Bra. It’s adds just the right amount of lift for a natural look without the padding.  It is so comfortable – made with ultra soft memory foam cups that are sure to hug all the right areas and prevent gaping that some bra cups tend to have. It’s universally flattering and comes in 5 different colors (though I am partial to the new Deep-Orchid, which is so perfect for Spring and Summer! Their bras…

Denim is such a great fabric for Spring – light, breezy, casual. I scored this denim romper for only $10 at TJMaxx, and it’s the perfect versatile option to dress up or dress down. I wore it to brunch at Morgan’s Miami (photos of our induglent mascarpone and raspberry stuffed french toast, chicken and waffle sandwiches, various tacos, and freshly baked made-to-order cookies can be seen here), but that’s another story… This beautiful and dainty necklace is by C. Alexandria, who sells her amazing handcrafted pieces in her etsy shop. I put together some similar denim romper options, most under $30! These can be worn with sandals or cute kicks, or dressed up with wedges and even the right blazer, making it a great evening outfit for Spring weather.

This past Sunday was the annual Veuve Clicquot Carnaval (#VCCarnaval) here in Miami. It was a beautiful and sunny day – perfect for sipping champagne (and rosé), some delicious bites, and Carnaval celebrations! I’ve put together some Veuve Clicquot inspired looks for you to shop – perfect for any Spring or Summer event (especially great for sipping champagne in).

I post about all types of sweets and treats, including some local South Florida favorites such as The Salty Donut, Mojo Donuts, and Cream (which I actually visited for the first time in San Francisco over a year ago).  And now, I’m going to be firing up my tastebuds for the second annual Donuts! festival, here in Miami. The event is going to be held on Thursday, March 30 at the popular Wynwood venue, MAPS Backlot, where donut-lovers citywide will unite to indulge in some of the best that South Florida has to offer. Some of the confirmed vendors will include Circus Eats, Dunkin’ Donuts, Krispy Kreme, Mojo Doughnuts, and YoNutz – Gourmet Donuts and Ice Cream, Jupiter Donuts, The One Donut Company, and Crave Clean, as well as beverage sponsors Concrete Beach Brewery, Voss, Deep Eddy Vodka, and Nespresso. The festival was created as a passion project by local PR agency, Vine Communications,…
