I first gave you a peek of AVEENO’s Ultra-Calming Makeup Removing Wipes here, when I introduced some of their new summertime product additions. As I briefly mentioned there, I have had trouble finding a great makeup remover. I typically use baby oil, or a deep cleansing face wash while I am in the shower. The latter still doesn’t complete the job 100%, and baby oil can just be so messy.
As always, AVEENO’s new makeup removing wipes do not disappoint. Their fresh smell and non-irritating formula, make for the perfect remover wipe that doesn’t burn my eyes (as many makeup removers do), and leaves my skin soft and smooth. The wipes use Active Naturals® Calming Feverfew™ – Feverfew is a natural calming flower, and is related to chamomile, which explains the soothing and gentle qualities.
The package also has a hard plastic closure that snaps shut, as opposed to some other makeup removing wipe packages that just have a plastic film flap that doesn’t completely cover the opening, which often causes the wipes to dry out.
I definitely recommend the AVEENO’s Ultra-Calming Makeup Removing Wipes, especially if you have sensitive skin that is often bothered by makeup removing products.
